Nellie Gail Ranch is a beautiful equestrian community in Laguna Hills, California. It covers over 1,350 acres of lush, green land.
This community features large estates and 20 miles of trails for horseback riding, biking, and hiking. There are many custom homes here, as well as grand estates. Residents pay a low tax rate, Home Owners Association fee, and there are no Mello-Roos.
Saddleback Valley Unified School District serves this community by providing highly ranked Valencia Elementary School, La Paz Intermediate School, and Laguna Hills High School. Parents can choose from several private schools such as; St. Augustine Classical Academy, Christ Community Preschool, Pathway School, Inc., and New Vista School. Saddleback College, and the University of California Irvine are also close by.
Nellie Gail Ranch has over 50 acres of open space, and 5,000 mature trees. There are five parks which the Home Owners Association maintains. Gallup Park is the place to go for summer concerts, picnics, and basketball games. Dapple Grey Park is located on a rolling hill with an equestrian area, as well as picnicking and basketball. Another rolling hill park, Moulton Park, has part of a fitness trail, playground, basketball court, and equestrian arena. Monument Park is a small area that has the association entry sign. And Hidden Trail Park offers part of the fitness trail, a playground, basketball court, and picnic tables.
Residents have easy access to major freeways, as well as many stores and restaurants. Nearby shopping centers include the Aliso Viejo Town Center, Oakbrook Village Shopping Center, the Irvine Spectrum Center, and Rivera Plaza. The Laguna Hills Mall was going through major renovations as of 2016. It will reopen in 2017 with a 14-screen theater.
